4) I don't think that Google is responsible for newspaper corporations' employees losing their jobs because they aren't directly related to the industry and are only improving the news service. I do believe that Google is a powerful company but they seem to have customer satisfaction at the heart of their services and are building upon their foundations to fulfil the customers' desires.

Google has forced journalistic outlets to innovate and search for new ways of doing things. It has made information dissemination more efficient. While at times that has been bad for the average journalist trying to make a buck, from a big picture perspective, it has been good for helping people get access to information, and that includes journalism." - I AGREE with this statement. I think that Google has been successful in almost rejuvenating the way that News is both produced and received by audiences and think that Google has made positive contributions to the industry as opposed to the negative allegations being made against them.
- "They seem to think that Google News is a service. It’s just a leech on the hardworking reporters." - I DISAGREE with this statement as I think that Google News is promoting news and reaching a wider audience, thus aiding reporters, as opposed to "leeching" on them.
